Part 1 of the IGF series had Saki secure a come-from-behind win in the opening round. Will she be able to continue that momentum to get the best two out of three? If so, this should be a short video, right?. Onwards to the action.





The bell rings, and round two commences. Saki continues where she left off, throwing Ryo down to the canvas.







Headlock with some taunting to get things going.



“Dou da? Kurushii darou? - How does it feel? Painful?” Saki questions her victim, while Ryo responds in anguished grunts.







With her back on the canvas, Saki locks in the hold deeper.







Ryo is entirely in her clutches. Although Saki is pouring on the offense...



A quick lack of judgment has Ryo reversing the move.



“Ikki nandayo - What the hell are you doing?” Ryo responds (maybe LOL)





More taunting has Ryo picking Saki up. Ryo executes a flying kick...





Followed by a DDT.







The momentum has switched in a flash.



Multiple angles of the camera capture Ryo putting Saki in a headlock.







Which is followed with a neck and arm scissors.







Both competitors are panting from exertion as Ryo continues to taunt her opponent.





“Hora! Dou darou? - Look! What are you going to do?” Ryo jeers as she clamps down on the submission.





The hold continues until..





Saki reaches for the rope. The referee calls for the break!







With more trash talk, Ryo picks up her opponent and flings her to the ropes.







More knee strikes connect, tenderizing Saki’s abdomen.





Can she continue to take this?







The offense is relentless.





One more knee strike to the back has Saki on the ring floor, sprawled out and worn. What technique will Ryo set up now?



Figure four leg lock is dialed in!







Saki lets out cries of hurt and fatigue as the move does its work.







The cameraman is in full zoom, capturing the expression of Saki in this very moment. Fighting Impact knows what the fans want, and they are delivering masterfully.



“Shinai no? Suru ni notte? - Want to give up? Are you on the verge of giving up?” Ryo asks, applying more pressure. She’s in total domination mode.





More taunting is heard, as Saki refuses to tap. The move continues to deplete Saki’s stamina. With a last-ditch effort, she reaches for the ropes and...



Grabs on! The match continues. Can Saki make a comeback as she did in the last round?





Ryo allows Saki to get up on her own. Her legs are tattered and bare as she limps around the ring.





Ryo takes advantage, seeing the weakness in her opponent.



Two roundhouse kicks have Saki spring forward towards the ropes.



As she bounces off the ringside, another roundhouse kick connects across her head.



Saki crashes to the mat as the ref counts.

“Down"

4...





Saki is panting heavily. Will she be able to get up in time?

She squirms around, teeming with determination.

7...

8...

As she tries to get up...

9...

Her body simply doesn’t respond.

10!



Saki lays on the mat, sprawled out from a lack of stamina as the bell signals the end of the round. Ryo mounted a comeback that focused on getting the momentum and maintaining it to a victory in Round 2. Now the series is tied. Who has the better strategy to win the day? Will Ryo continue to pepper her rival with those stiff kicks. Or will Saki rethink her strategy to ink out a win? In any case, be sure to tune in next time for the final installment of IGF-01.
