Ion squeezes tightly, but Chiharu secures the rope break before more damage is done.

Chiharu is getting the life squeezed out of her.



Ion lets up a little bit, but only to secure another submission.

Chiharu is getting folded. She is going to have to mount an offense soon; otherwise, this contest is over.



Ion uses her long legs to her advantage, trapping her prey like a spider catching a fly on its web.

Strain and anguish are visible all over Chiharu's face as she whimpers and pants in sheer agony.

"Hanase! - Let go!" Chiharu squeaks out, trying to endure the onslaught.

Ion manages to keep the assault going for what seems like ten minutes.



In a flash, Ion switches her tactics.



Chiharu is flung to the corner post.

Followed by another flinging to the turnbuckle on the opposite end of the ring.



Ion goes for the attack...

Chiharu counters!

Ion tries to recover, but..



German suplex!

The ref slaps the mat.

Kick out!



Chiharu capitalizes on the momentum, going for another cover.

"Fall!"

Kick out once again.



A groggy Ion is lifted to her feet.

Face crusher by Chiharu.



Another cover. Is this all she wrote for Ion?

No dice. Another kick out. The show goes on.



Ion is treading in deep water here, as Chiharu doesn't let up her assault.



Hello, suplex! Different camera angles capture the technique—a clean delivery.



Another pinfall. Chiharu has a natural tendency for the pro-style approach.

More slapping of the mat is heard off stage.

Ion still has fight in her, but this rose is beginning to wither.





Chiharu scoops up the legs of her opponent. Umm...yeah (LOL!)

Ion breaks free early this time.



"Saigo, todome kime sasete imasu! - I'll let you decide how this ends!" Chiharu taunts, setting up another technique.



Chiharu attempts to hoist Ion into the air.

She goes for a rolling pin of her own.

No dice! Ion is not about to quit! You don't get this far being a weak opponent.



Chiharu climbs the top rope, trash-talking her opponent in the process.

She dives...



And hits nothing but canvas! She clutches her knee in pain and disappointment.



Ion capitalizes and goes for a technique.





Figure-four, and nothing more! (See what I did there? LOL)



Chiharu whines and winces, demanding Ion to let her free.



Ion locks in the hold, trying to secure the win. Every time Chiharu reaches for her knees, Ion applies more pressure.

The camera captures the passionate action in the ring, as Chiharu fights for her pride. She cannot submit like this. She must not submit like this.

Both struggle and strain, trying to squeeze every last bit of effort of themselves to achieve victory.

Ion pushes herself to her absolute breaking point.



But she loses steam and decides to break the hold.



What's next? A reversal, that's what!

Another reversal! Ion goes for a technique

But Chiharu leaps into the air, grabbing her opponent.



OH MAI GAWD, KING! It's a stunner! (Shout out to you if you get the reference, LOL!)



Ion is dazed, clutching her jaw.





Chiharu scuttles up the ring ropes. What's this? She's going airborne? Dangerous this late in the match. One mistake, and it's lights out for the experienced veteran.

She dives...



Boom! Diving knee strike! Right on the dome!



With pinpoint accuracy, Chiharu lands a *hisastsu waza* (deadly technique) on her adversary.



The lanky Ion sinks into the mat as Chiharu hooks the leg.

With the ringing of the bell, the match is over. A panting and drained Chiharu catches her breath, thanking her lucky stars the contest is over.
