Picking where we last left off, Ririka had Kat locked in a pretty advanced move - a Palo Special! Lesser opponents have submitted quickly under the force of this technique. Will Kat do the same, signaling the fate of Team DC?



Ririka stretches her adversary to her absolute limit.



Kat cries out for her partner, who enters the ring to crash the party.





YUE and Saya lock up again like before.



Another test of strength!



Saya is on the attack with a knee to the midsection, sending YUE to the mat.



Picking up YUE, Saya goes for a grappling technique.



Suplex! Different angles showcase the clean delivery of the move.





Saya grabs YUE by the neck and cranks on the choke. Sleeper hold, ladies and gentlemen.



YUE squirms in anguish, trying to loosen the grip of the submission.

“You think you can get out [of this]? I don’t think so!” Saya taunts confidently, knowing she has YUE in her clutches.



YUE sells the move perfectly, gasping for the little air that’s left.








Saya switches her tactics, executing a Boston crab.





YUE whimpers as her legs get pulled to the ceiling.





Kat joins in with the taunting as Saya continues to stretch out her opponent.

Ririka grows restless of this charade, charging into the ring to disrupt the attacks.





But Kat anticipates this, capturing Ririka with a quick grapple, followed by a Boston crab of her own!



Team BATTLE is caught in a web of their own demise.



They cannot help but cry out in pain, only to have Saya and Kat crave more bloodlust.



Team DC changes their strategy, with Saya sinking in a sleeper hold while Kat applies a lotus lock!

The submissions are locked and loaded.







Kat eventually switches over to a sleeper of her own as Ririka is drifting in and out of consciousness.

Trash talk ensues as Team DC continues the assault.





Throwing Ririka to the side, Saya and Kat focus on the Ace of BATTLE, pelting YUE with shots.



Saya delivers the strikes while Kat applies the submissions.

YUE is getting ripped apart while Ririka remains motionless in the corner.





Saya and Kat are devising a plan. What is coming up next?



“I think we should do a double powerbomb. What do you think?” Kat motions to her partner, who is all for it.

YUE is in trouble if she doesn’t act fast.





Saya sets up the technique, grabbing her opponent and hoisting her as high as she can.



Kat comes in to add some extra force, as YUE doesn’t have the strength to fight back.



DOUBLE-POWERBOMB! Teamwork at its finest.





YUE looks to not have any fight left as Team DC shifts their focus on the fallen Ririka.

Saya locks YUE in a Boston crab while Kat forces Ririka into a full nelson lock.

YUE and Ririka cry out to the heavens, not to have anyone there to save them from their rivals.





Kat and Saya talk with each other, still clutching onto their opponents.

“We better finish this. What do you think?” Kat asks, gripping Ririka for dear life.

Saya agrees as they both go for their final technique.



Saya begins to hoist YUE into the air. What move is this, I wonder?



Yo! Argentine backbreaker! Saya has got some serious strength!

Not wanting to be outdone, she lifts Ririka in the air as well.



A torture rack! A back submission of her own.

YUE and Ririka wince, cry and scream from the agony of the moves.



Kat drives the hold in deeper, causing Ririka to let out more of her anguish.

More taunting is heard throughout the venue.

“Give up! Come on, just give up!”



That is exactly what they do, with YUE and Ririka submitting to Team DC.



Kat and Saya did it. Revenge is sweet. The gong sounds as Saya and Kat loosen up the pressure put on Team BATTLE.



Collapsing in a pile of their own exhaustion, YUE and Ririka remain lifeless on the canvas, shipwrecked and weathered from the contest.



Although they fought bravely fought back to tie up the match, it wasn’t enough as Team DC had a hidden technique at the ready. The referee raises the hands of Saya and Kat, officially declaring victory. While Team Battle managed to win the Live Event, Team DC can return to their foreign lands knowing they are not to be trifled with. If YUE and Ririka want a rematch, they will have to bring their A-game to top these competitors. As to what will happen in the future, we may never know. However, maybe one day YUE will grace us with her presence stateside to give the foreigners a show of what it takes to be the Ace of BATTLE and the Queen of AKIBACOM. With Ririka’s retirement, we, unfortunately, might have missed that chance, but never say never, right?

This was an excellent match where both teams were tested to their limits. Countless holds and wrestling moves were on full display, giving viewers a taste of what DC can offer. If Kat and Saya continue to be part of that active roster, rest assured the quality of matches will continue to be nothing short of stellar if you’re on the fence as to whether you should pick up this match.
