Look, I know there are a lot of numbers in this title (LOL), but I didn't name it! Hopefully, the action of this match (and the pictures that go along with it) helps you forget about the cryptic level nomenclature, readjusting your focus onto what's actually important. Like the previous match in this series, this contest is pinfalls only, where competitors have to wear each other out with the force of their own momentum. If you know anything about judo, this is one of the first new techniques you learn on the mat. Let's see which of these two evenly-matched fighters has the better form.

[1st Set]



The first shot introduces Asami, adorned in a red and black Mizuno suit with gold and white trimmings. Crimson kneepads and coal-colored boots complete the look, complementing her bronze hair and slightly tanned skin.



Miyu enters the ring with a brighter set of gear in an Arena suit of different tints of blue.





After a brief interview, the match opens with Asami and Miyu locking up.



Asami goes for the fall, but Miyu breaks it up instantly.







Rinse and repeat.

Both competitors struggle back and forth to get the momentum.





Now Miyu mounts some offense, but Asami kicks out immediately.
The occasional showing of musculature contrasting with the suits is a testament to the effort on display in this match.







Asami takes back control, going for the pin.



The referee slaps the mat in the background, but Miyu breaks out at a count of two.



Flipping Asami over, Miyu goes for the quick fall before there's a kick out.



Both competitors get back to their fighting position.





They fumble around with different grabs and grips, trying to gain leverage.



Asami retakes control, almost getting Miyu in another pin. Miyu squirms around until she finally finds the means to kick out. Asami is starting to get a bit frustrated as she made multiple attempts to secure the pin, but her opponent is too slippery.



Back to locking up again.



Asami for another fall, but nothing comes from her effort.

She lets out a sigh of exasperation as her stamina begins to decrease.
Sensing this situation, Miyu mounts more of an offensive. Perhaps this was her strategy all along?

"Fall!" Miyu commands as the ref slaps the mat.



Asami kicks out of the pin with so much force it bumps the cameraman, LOL.



Asami is starting to slow down, panting heavily at this point.





One fall…

Then kickout.





Miyu takes advantage.





Another kickout!



Asami is still going for the attack, despite being drained.



The ref slaps the mat.

1...

2...



Miyu breaks free, going for a pin of her own. Another fall.

1...

2...

With a whimpering cry, Asami breaks out, flinging Miyu off her with a great show of force.

Miyu continues the assault, going for another pin.

1...

2...

Close, but no dice! Asami is really determined to not give up.

Going for one last push, Asami brings Miyu down to the mat for another pin. You can hear the referee slap the mat off into the distance.

1...

2...

Kick out and reversal!



Miyu takes Asami down to the mat quickly, capitalizing on the change in momentum.

1...

Asami tries to break free, whimpering as she squirms around in anguish

2...

Miyu keeps her body pinned on her opponent, trying not to let Asami sneak out of this time.

Asami is about to squeeze out of the pin but...

3!





She doesn't have enough in the tank. Asami is motionless on the mat, panting heavily on the mat.





Miyu places her boot on her downed opponent, securing a Round 1 victory.



[2nd Set]

With Miyu taking the first round, Asami has to regroup if she doesn't want to get swept. As stamina begins to wear out from both competitors, anything can happen. It is important for Asami to maintain her composure if she wants to tie up the match.





Round 2 begins with another lock up.



Miyu with the first takedown, but Asami kicks out.





Asami retaliates with a cover of her own, but Miyu breaks out and tries a quick pin. No dice.



More pushing and shoving until Asami goes for another fall. The ref slaps the mat.

1...

2...





Miyu squeezes out of the pin and goes for one of her own, but Asami learned from her mistakes and recovers quickly. Can't sneak a pin on her again.



Each competitor tries to force the other off balance, shifting their weight around to get leverage.



Miyu is successful, pinning Asami for another fall.

1...

2...

Asami is out of the pin. The match keeps going.



Miyu keeps the pressure on, going for another smooth cover. Here comes the count.

1...

2...

With a wincing cry, Asami forces Miyu off her.

She pretends to be preoccupied with her hair, as Miyu inches closer.



Boom! Surprise pin fall.

1...

2...

Kick out. Miyu is taken off guard.



Both try to catch their breath, not willing to make a move.

Suddenly Asami goes for another cover, but Miyu kicks out.





Asami is winded while Miyu grabs on the right arm of her opponent.





With the left arm behind Asami's neck, Miyu pulls her adversary down with force.

Asami begins to panting loudly, discombobulated and tired. The ref counts.

1...

2...





Asami breaks out! Miyu looks frustratingly confused.





She thought she had Asami for good!





Another pin, but no cigar.

Asami is putting a spectacle of determination, but Miyu seems to have had enough.

Another pin, another kickout! What must Miyu do to get this win?







They lock up again, both visually exhausted.



Miyu drops her guard for a second.





Asami responds like lightning, forcing Miyu to the mat.



"Fall!"

Now Miyu is the one whimpering from agitation and disappointment. The ref slaps the mat.



1...

Miyu tries to break free, but Asami is holding on with everything she has left.



2...

Miyu is almost free, getting ready to kick out



3!





But it is not enough, as Asami secures the win for this round. Placing her boot on Miyu's abdomen, she catches her breath, knowing the next round is the one that determines the match. Who do you think is going to take set 3?



With both competitors almost equal in every stat, it is anybody's game at this point. It comes down to will and who has enough guts to see it through the end. Will Miyu come back and seal the victory? Does Asami have enough momentum to ride into the sunset and taste the champagne of glory? You know what to do…Stay tuned for the conclusion, that's what!
