If you've read my previous post on the matter, you'll see that the lovely people over at Dangerous Curves traveled across the pond to challenge the champs Kou Asumi and YUE, both the respective "aces" in their own divisions. Normally, the BWP (Battle World Pro-Wrestling) roster is at odds with each other, having countless matches to determine who is the dominant one in the promotion. When the foreigners come around, that attention gets turned towards defending the home turf, which had the Japanese ladies win their matches outright. Much to the delight of the fans, Kou and YUE seemed to team up well, a nice balance of speed and technique.





This time around, we have the Saya and Kat looking to get revenge from what happened at the live show.





While YUE makes a return, her tag partner is Ririka Hoshikawa, another fan favorite. With deadly leg techniques (like her signature enzuigiri), she pairs up well with YUE, who is a grappling machine. How will the ladies at DC fare against two of the BATTLE elite?







Both camps whisper to each other, discussing strategy on how to get the advantage.





The masked ref checks explains the rules of engagement, as the wrestlers glare at each other with anticipation. Saya and Ririka are up first as the match bell rings.







They lock up. A test of strength ensues, as Saya and Ririka push against each other.





Saya wins the opening assault, stomping Ririka and forcing her to the ground.





Single leg crab! Ririka is getting her right leg stretched to the ceiling, as she winces in anguish.







Neck scissors is up next! Saya is in control so far.



Ririka is too crafty however, rolling her opponent over.





Camel clutch is dialed in. Saya is hurting, reaching out to Kat for the tag, but is too far from the ropes.





A violent face crusher!



Followed by a cobra twist! Ririka is getting her revenge for sure!

Kat interrupts the hold with a stomp on Ririka's back, causing her to release the submission. Kat tags Saya quickly and begins to work on the dazed Ririka.







Suplex city! Clean technique, too!





Kat shows her skills, executing a lotus lock! Ririka is reeling after getting thrown around the ring.



Kat transitions to a body scissors, playing with her victim's hair. She is in full control and knows it, flashy an occasional cheeky grin as Ririka cries out in desperation.



"Poor thing, you thought you could take me?" says the blondie, taunting Ririka like a predator playing with its prey before the inevitable.


"You thought you were stronger than me?"


"Mada - not yet" Ririka whimpers, before YUE breaks up the hold.



Ririka crawls to the ropes while YUE takes over.









A quick tag, followed by her own suplex/brainbuster on Kat. YUE has a ton of experience in the ring, and the crispiness of the throw is a testament to that. Kat groans as the collides with the canvas.



What technique is this? You guessed it - Figure-4 leg lock! Kat is shaken up by the hold, crying out for someone to save her.

"Come on Kat, don't let her beat you!" are the words of encourage coming from her tag-team partner

"Hora、YUE-chan nimo kate nai janai no? - Look, you can't beat YUE, huh?" Ririka taunts from the sidelines.



"Get out of the hold!"

"I'm trying!" Kat retaliates, panting audibly from getting squeezed.



YUE sets up another technique. A surfboard stretch is locked and loaded.



"Give up shi nasai yo! - Give up now!" YUE commands, which is met with protests from Kat.

"Damn you! Saya, help me!" Kat calls for her partner, who responds quickly. Double axe-handle to YUE's back.







Saya takes over. Powerbomb on YUE.



Followed by a punch to the gut. To top it off, Saya connects with an armbar.



After pulling on the arm, Saya lets go and continues to tenderize YUE with stomps to the back.



Hello there, camel clutch!





The cameraman gets up close and personal, showcasing every expression on YUE's face.

"Give up, yet?" Saya taunts, which YUE is too much in agony to respond. Saya goes for another move.





Boston crab! Followed by a body scissors and dragon sleeper. YUE is in the deep water without a life vest at this point. Ririka recognizes this fact, jumping in to save her partner.





Kat is having none of that, catching Ririka in a standing sleeper hold! Team BWP is losing the momentum.



"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Kat looks over at Saya. Yes, she is.



Putting YUE and Ririka back to back, the DC team charges at the competitors groggy in the middle of the ring. Boom, double lariat!

YUE and Ririka collapse onto the ring floor, withered and lacking any stamina.

"Ahh, poor little girls! You thought you could take this team?" Kat brags, knowing she has the upper hand.







Team DC is not done yet. Double face-crusher!





Looks like they are setting up another move. What is this?



"Ready?" Team DC give each other the green light.





Boom! Double powerbomb!



Tha ref counts, as YUE and Ririka ara sprawled out on the canvas.



"1-2-3!"





Saya and Kat deliver a dominant performance in Round 1, looking to exact revenge from what happened at the live show. Can Team DC keep it up and cruise to a sweeping victory?





Will YUE and Ririka rally and fight back to take Round 2? You know you want to see Part 2, so don't even kid yourselves LOL. All jokes aside, Saya and Kat put on a great performance this time, coming out firing on all cylinders. Let's see what happens next.
